The agricultural sector of Egypt called for the resumption of maritime traffic with Italy, as it is essential for the export of its products.
A delegation of Egyptian companies in the agricultural sector has called for the resumption of martimes routes between two countries.
The maritime service has been interrupted since the revolution in Egypt, but political instability has not been conducive to the resumption of traffic.
Egyptian entrepreneurs visiting Rome called for a resumption of maritime traffic because the link between Venice and Alexandria is essential for the transport of Egyptian fruits and vegetables. The shipping company Visemar that ran the route has not yet proposed any renewal.
