In the first three months of 2024, exports of Tahitian lemons from Peru reached 15 million dollars, corresponding to a total of 15,000 tonnes, according to data from a Peruvian consulting firm.
This result represents an increase of 15% in value and 14% in volume compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
The United States stood out as the main destination for these exports, with purchases totalling 8.5 million dollars and 8,000 tonnes of lemons, experiencing a 13% growth in this mark.
