Rise in agricultural exports

Argentinean exports of agricultural produce increased by 21% in the first quarter of the year compared to the same period last year. With regard to the sales of agricultural raw material, the rise was 13% and led to a price rise of 16%, which was compensated by a 5% fall in export volumes. On the whole, during the first four months of the year 2003, Argentina exported primary products for a value of 2, 013 million dollars.
