Tesco will accelerate its development in China

Tesco plans to invest 2 billion pounds (2.27 billion Euros) and an increase of 30% per year in the retail space over the next 5 years.
The Chief Executive of Tesco in China unveiled investment projects during the opening of the shopping center of Fuzhou (Fujian province). Tesco owns 95 shopping centers in the country, including 5 for which he is owner. Tesco plans to increase by 30% its sales area by creating new supermarkets and new shopping centers.
Tesco is the third global distributor and has offices in 14 countries. In 2010, Asian markets have largely contributed to the growth of its profits.
