The market turned into stagnation stage – too much fruits without demand. Egyptian oranges in Novorossijsk were offered on 0,87 $/kg. West of the country as well didn’t manage all the arriving volumes – 0,925 $/kg for Moroccan oranges in Saint-Petersburg. Turkey could take very little part of the market on 0,855 $/kg level.
The only positive citrus fruit in week 5. Prices jumped further up to 2,45 $/kg for Turkish lemons, Spanish ones were sold out completely. The shortage was felt in every region.
No light in the tunnel during week 4. The bestseller among origins in mandarins market was Pakistan having at least a demand on 1,30 $/kg level. The range of prices for Moroccan clementinas was wide – from 1,22 to 1,63 $/kg. Spanish ones dropped to 0,81 $/kg though there were some offers on 1,00 $/kg.
