Creation of the binding Guadalajara - Henan (China)

SAGARPA the Mexican Ministry of Agricultre announced the signing of a protocol for the creation of an air bridge between the city of Guadalajara ( Jalisco ) and Henan Province , for the export of food products.

Henan Province is located in the center of China and has more than 106 million inhabitants. Its international airport , Zhengzhou , one of the largest in the country is approved by AQSIQ , the Chinese Health Service , for the entry of fresh fruit and produce.

The airport offers connections to 91 cities in China and is already home to 32 international flight lines as connections to Los Angeles, Miami , New York or Chicago.

Since the Guadalajara airport , the exports agricultural sector about 48,000 tons of fresh produce ( mangoes, avocados and strawberries, in particular) to different markets (USA, UK, France , South Korea).
