Decreased production of clementines

The Ministry of Agriculture estimates that the production of clementines will be lower.

According to the data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Magrama), the production of clementines will be reduced by 10.6% compared to the previous season. The ministry has hinted at a planned production of 1,263,400 tons.

Among other citrus fruits, a decline for the hybrids of mandarins is expected, with -20.1% (441,000 tons). On the contrary, it is expected an increase by 18% for satsumas (177,100 tons) and by 20.1% for grapefruit (56,400 tons).
