Bonduelle to increase the capacity of its Russian plants

Bonduelle, a giant in canned vegetables and frozen food, plans increased production capacity in its two Russian plants.
Bonduelle will invest a total of € 12 million in Russia increase production of its Russian plants.
This investment allows €6 million to increase the production at Timachevsk from 22,000 tons to 45,000 tons in 2 years and €6 million to install irrigation systems on 6,500 acres of farmland.
Bonduelle produces around 95 000 tons of canned vegetable production per year in its two Russian units (Novotitarovskaia and Timachevsk).
For the year 2012/2013, the Group expects a turnover of 1.9 billion euros against 1.767 billion in 2011/2012.
