The Virtual University of Agroecology opened

To train remotely Agroecology, VUA launched its 1st module.
Agroecology in the heart of the broad guidelines for the future raises great interest. To address the need for skills generated by the development of this discipline, the member institutions of Agreenium (AgrocampusOuest, AgroParisTech AgroSup Dijon, CIRAD INPT, INRA, Montpellier SupAgro) and the University of Lorraine (ENSAIA) created the VUA (Virtual University of agroecology) which comes just put online the first module of self-training titled "What is agroecology? ".
The VAU (Virtual University of agroecology) offers a training course online to a wide audience (researchers and teachers, Scientific, Ministerial and technical officers, development engineers ...) with basic knowledge in agronomy to acquire knowledge and skills in this new discipline.
The module is divided into four stages, each of them offering a route map, quick or full. The whole course of this module provides twenty hours, the courses offered consist of audiovisual resources and reading articles, guided research to be conducted. Transcripts of the videos are also available.
