Unforeseen increase in volume of grape exports

The 2022/23 grape season in Peru recently started and shipments are well above forecast, according to consultancy Inform@cción.
To date, the volumes shipped show an increase of 24% compared to what was shipped in the same period of the 2021/22 season. In October of the current season, 46,863,973 kilos were shipped, and in November (on the 20th) 70,175,141 kilos were shipped.
According to the source, a 10% growth in export volume was previously projected for the 2022/23 season compared to what was shipped in the previous season, however, they currently project to grow by 20%.
