Table grape export season in Arequipa is in full swing

The 2021/2022 export season of grape began in Arequipa in October, and to date, more than 3,000 tons of fresh grapes have been exported, and it is projected to exceed 8,300 tons, according to the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa).

 

The production is mainly developed in Arequipa (La Joya and Santa Rita districts), Castilla (Aplao district), and Caylloma (Majes).

 

The Arequipa grapes are mainly exported to the United States, Russia, Colombia, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Korea and Panama.
