Macfrut announces several new features for its 2023 edition

The 40th edition of the Macfrut fair will be held from May 3 to 5, 2023 in Rimini. The organizers announced a strongly business-oriented event with an enlarged exhibition space, strong international growth with a target of 30% foreign professionals and several new features.
Macfrut 2023 was presented to the press and professionals during an international mission in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This 2023 edition will have the blueberry as its emblematic fruit and will include several new features:
.International Blueberry Days: dedicated to the blueberry and of global scope, the event will take place over 3 days, with the most eminent international technical and scientific experts, as well as major global players. The event will be complemented by technical visits, a test field and an advanced training workshop.
.International Plant Nurseries and Varietal Innovation Exhibition: the International Plant Nurseries and Varietal Innovation Exhibition, which will serve as a specialized meeting point for nurserymen, breeders, producers, experts and researchers operating in this field. Conferences, technical seminars and workshops are scheduled. Special sessions on varietal innovation for apple and cherry trees, table grapes, kiwis and strawberries.
.Pianeta Rosso (Red Planet): dedicated to players in the tomato sector, from seed producers to distributors. Based on the analysis of the needs of end buyers, resulting from market studies and panel tests.
.Biosolutions International Event: dedicated to natural products for plant protection, plant nutrition and biostimulation. With various activities, technical round tables, in-depth discussions on kiwis, citrus fruits, table grapes, olives and nuts.
.AcquaCampus: dedicated to innovations in irrigation and irrigation technologies. A testing ground will be set up in the exhibition halls to allow visitors to discover more closely the latest technologies in water management applied to horticulture. Guided technical tours are also planned.
.Spices & Herbs Global Expo: dedicated to the world of spices, medicinal herbs and aromatic herbs. A real 'living room' within the living room, it will have a dedicated exhibition space, with the participation of professionals from all over the world and technical workshops with experts.
Finally, the partner region will be Calabria during this Macfrut 2023 which will also focus on Latin America, with the Latin American Days event which will occupy an entire exhibition hall, with the participation of companies, d international institutions and professionals.
