Compagnie Fruitière establishes in the Netherlands buying United Fresh Service with the goal to extend its chain of distribution in Europe.

Compagnie Fruitière has purchased the remaining parts of United Fresh Services to extend its chain of distribution. United Fresh Services  changes its name to  Compagnie Fruitière the Netherlands. This event highlights the worldwide presence of  Compagnie Fruitière in the fields of integrated activities: production, transport and distribution.

Under the direction of co-founder Niels Borgers the operation will continue with the same team by keeping the level of service and enlarge commercial relations. The company will concentrate on the activity of ripening and distribution of bananas.

 Compagnie Fruitière The Netherlands will also work as the local office to offer the complete range of Compagnie Fruitière products: mango, avocado, pineapple, litchi and cherry tomatoes.

SCB Premium will stay the first mark of Compagnie Fruitière. These three letter symbolize all the engagement of the group to offer fruits of the best quality and environmentally and human friendly conditions. Bananas SCB Premium are grown Compagnie Fruitière farms at Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Ghana or in Ecuador according to the same strict requirements.

Compagnie Fruitière is a family business founded in Marseille (France) in 1938 and the biggest grower of fruits from region Africa-Caribbean-Pacific specialized in the production, transport and distribution of fruits and vegetables. The company grows, transports, ripens more than 900 000 tons of fruits and vegetables, from which 750 000 tons of bananas in Europe and in the rest of the world.
