Tabuenca decided to donate 25,000 pounds of vegetables to food banks.
The solidarity campaign launched on Facebook page (our info from 10.23.2013) aimed to donate a pound of vegetables to food banks for every new fan .
Launched in September, the operation planned 25,000 fans to reach 25 000 kg of offered vegetables. In December, the operation counted only 8,300 fans.
In front of the public enthousiasm, the Tabuenca company decided to donate a total of 25,000 pounds of vegetables to food banks in the region of Castilla y León (Valladolid, Segovia, León, Palencia, Burgos, Soria, Ávila, Salamanca, Zamora ).
