Moderate decrease in onion exports in January and February

Between January and February 2022, Peru's onion exports reached 46,569,108 kilos worth $14,621,075. It is a moderate decrease from the 59,181,849 kilos exported in the same period of 2021 for $21,735,356, according to a report from the Agrodata portal.
The main destination countries for these supplies in the first two months of 2022 were the United States, with placements for $7,812,315 (53% of the total), Spain with $3,319,219, Colombia with $2,793,509, Chile with $222,066, and the Netherlands with $122,935, Bolivia with $11,616 and others with smaller amounts that together totaled $339,416.
