Melchese Veilingen and Coöbra represents more than half of the vegetables produced in Belgium.
Members of the two entities have approved the merger, which will be operational from 01.01.2013.
Melchese Veilingen is the largest cooperative auction in Europe, Coöbra is the largest
auction for endives. The new group will control 56% of Belgian vegetables.
The name of the new group will be announced on December 14.
