Eight regions of the South of Italy (Abruzzo, Basilicato, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicilia) established an agreement to find a common strategy for the development of the fruit and vegetable sector for the next three years to face up to the future challenges, and in particular the liberalization of the Mediterranean trades in 2010.
A team which group professionals of the eight regions was formed to plan the interventions concerning infrastructures and logistics to remain competitive.
