Record number of B2B Fresh Market 2018 Conference participants

The XI meeting of buyers from retail chains of Central and Eastern Europe with suppliers of fruit, vegetables and flowers will take place on 27th of September 2018 in Ożarów Mazowceckc near Warsaw - next to the largest in Poland Warsaw Wholesale Market "Broncsze".

The unique formula of the business meetings makes it possible for the representaties of the industry to take part in many business meetings face to face during the FRESH MARKET CONFERENCE, in one day and in one place.

The main goal of the conference is to allow producers and suppliers of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers to meet with representatives of retail chains and wholesalers of regional and hlobal range, and consequently to establish long-term cooperaton.

At the same time, the conference partcipants can learn about the situaton on the vegetable, fruit and flowers market in Central and Eastern Europe. This is partcularly important as the countries in the region, such as Ukraine, Russia, Serbia and Poland, are among the largest importers of citrus fruit in the world. A signifcant increase is observed in the import of southern fruit in Poland, which is to a large extent related to the change in consumer habits, as well as - in accordance with the world fashion - superfoods.

Artur Stasiak, Director of Deielopment of KJOW Sp. z o.o., says that this year, over 200 manufacturers and suppliers, as well as over 20 national and European retail chains, such as Tesco, Auchan, Biedronka, Carrefour, Spar, Piotr i Paweł, Dino Market, Intermarche, Stokrotka, Żabka and Freshmarket, ATB and Varus (Ukraine), Aman (Serbia), Brnenka (Czech Republic), Maxima (Lithuania), have announced their participation in the conference.
