Direct Fruit Log. : BAYER has presented GALKIA, its new melon

 Bayer has officially unveiled its latest innovation : GALKIA . The goal was to find the traditional melon, with its flavor, but also meet the demand of the markets for each stage of the chain value .

Thanks to an "indicator of maturity " melons are harvested at their best flavor and firmness . The secret of this melon? Very simple, is its own bark maturity indicator . The color changing from green to yellow indicates the best time to harvest. The precise moment when it has all the characteristics that make it a unique melon : aroma, taste, firmness , and which will provide perfect quality at the time of consumption.

Already grown in several regions of Spain , melon GALKIA will be available in three varieties ( Kirene , Kinder , Kinetic ) this summer ( early June to late September).
