The DGA (French Head office of the Food) reveal the appearance of the "yellow tasks of the Iris" virus (IYSV) for the first time on the national territory.
3 positive results for samples of leeks have been taken in the region Pays de la Loire. The origin of the contagion was not able to be identified.
It affects the vegetables of the alliaceous family (onion, leek, garlic, shallot, chive) and can present very variable symptomes according to the botanical species.
