In season 2005/06 in Italy total acreage of kiwi cultivation reached 23.673 hectares, total production was of 369.309 tons and whole export volume 286.260 tons.
Italy exported kiwi fruit to: Germany - 52.987 tons, Spain -34.734 tons, France - 20.173 tons, England - 16.716 tons and to Russia - 13.952 tons.
Total import volume was 50.145 tons.
