LaJordan plans to reach 1 million tonnes exported

Already an increase of 12% last year compared to 2013 , Jordanian exports reached a volume of 888,000 tons.

The Ministry of Agriculture announced that tomatoes accounted for 56 % of agricultural total exports. The Syrian market is the main importer with 47 % of fruit and vegetable, then follow the Gulf countries which receive 33 % of the products and some European countries.

Agricultural production in the country has increased , particularly the production of tomatoes . This will lead to a rise in exports . The objective is to reach 1 million tons exported in 2015 .
