Increase in quota of imported Turkish tomatoes

Russia will now import 200,000 tonnes of tomatoes from Turkey.
Russia will buy more tomatoes from Turkey, the import quota have increased by 50,000 tonnes.
Last week, the quota for tomatoes imported from Turkey was increased by 50,000 tonnes to 200,000 tonnes. The RIA Novosti agency has announced the publication of the official decree.
In 2015, Russia banned imports of Turkish fruits and vegetables after tensions between the 2 countries. In 2017, Russia resumed imports of Turkish products but by setting quotas. Since spring 2019 the quota for Turkish tomatoes has been 150,000 tonnes.
