Record exports for the state of Michoacán

The Mexican state of Michoacan has increased its agricultural export volumes.

According to data from Sagarpa , the Ministry of Agriculture of Mexico, Michoacán will reach this year 815 000 tonnes of agricultural products exported. Top of the list of exports: avocados with 628,000 tonnes and 91,000 tonnes of mangoes and 23,000 tonnes of lemons.

Other products are far behind the first 3: blackberries with 15,000 tonnes, melons with 14,000 tonnes, grapefruit 13,000 tonnes and 10,000 tonnes of guavas . All these exports are sent to various markets, but mainly in the United States.
