New CEO for the Antwerp Port Authority

The transfer of powers has been effective since January, 1st between Mr Eddy Bruyninckx (right) and Mr Jacques Vandermeiren (left).

Since January, 1st the Antwerp Port Authority has been headed by a new CEO, Managing Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee: Mr Jacques Vandermeiren succeeds Mr Eddy Bruyninckx who, after 25 years as head of the Port Authority retired on December 31, 2016.

The appointment of Mr. Jacques Vandermeiren was made this summer and he started on November 1st, 2016 as CEO. Mr. Eddy Bruyninckx retained full authority as CEO and Chairman of the Management Committee and Chief Executive Officer until his departure at the end of 2016.
