Stagnation in apples' sales in Polish market

Fears of rise in apples' prices in the end of May seem to become real. There are more and more apples in the market. Demand of these fruit is weaker from day to day.
The biggest problems with apples' sale have producers of Idared variety which is traditionally destined to Russian market. Unfortunately increase of the price to the level of 0,58 EUR resulted that interest of Russian customers rapidly fell.
More profitable for them is purchase of apples from Belgium or Italy where price of 1kg is less than 0,53 EUR. Moreover, Russia buys already this season's apples from Argentina.
