Excellent performance for Spanish exports in 2014 to non - European third countries.
FEPEX announced that exports to non- European third countries in 2014 increased by 32% in value compared to 2013, reaching EUR 421.5 million and 46% in volume totaling 487,989 tons.Brazil, Canada and Algeria top the rankings. In 2014 Brazil imported 88,895 tonnes ( + 56%) of Spanish products for a turnover of € 70.4 million (+ 25%). Canada imported 58,721 tonnes ( + 209% ) which totaled € 58.5 million (+ 165 %). Algeria has bought 82,554 tonnes ( + 35 % ) for € 56.3 million (+ 25%).
The main products exported : oranges, tangerines, plums, pears , onions.
