Billa to open more stores in Bulgaria

Billa supermarket chain - owned by Rewe - is to open seventeen new stores in Bulgaria by the end of this year, having entered the market in 2000 with a store in Sofia.

 

 

Twenty-five will have been opened in the country this year, taking their presence there to a total of sixty-five outlets.

 

 

Two new stores will open in Rousse and Stara by December, and some projects have been suspended until next year.
