The quality of Turkish products, recognized worldwide, is a size advantage against lower quality products from Uzbekistan, who supply those markets.
The sector of fruits and pulses is 3 billion dollars of export in 2023. This means that it must double its exports by then.
In 2015, the Turkish pistachio is the most dry fruit imported in Turkmenistan, followed by raisins for a total import of dried fruits with a value of 2.5 million US dollars.
