Exports of strawberries in increase

During the first half year of 2011, exports of Netherlands' strawberries increased by 25% compared to the same period in 2010.

 
The site "Tuinbouw" announces that exports to Belgium rose of 48%, 116% to Norway, 20% to Sweden, 74% to Switzerland and  88% to France.

 
Only two countries have reduced their purchases of Netherlands'  strawberries over the last year: Germany (-12%) and the United Kingdom.
