From January to June 2022, Peru's avocado exports totaled 329,228,127 kilos, according to the Agrodata Perù portal. It is a significant increase compared to the 224,514,004 kilos exported in the same period of 2021.
However, the value of these supplies fell from $703,029,731 in the first semester of 2021 to $573,134,007 in 2022.
The main destinations for Peruvian avocado from January to June 2022 were the Netherlands (34% of the total value), the United States (24%), Spain (13%), Chile (6%), China (5%), the United Kingdom (5%), Japan (4%), South Korea (3%), Hong Kong (2%), among others.
