Euro Asper, a discussion forum for professionals of the asparagus industry was held in Bologna, Italy from 1st to 2nd March. The event, organised by the CSO, attracted more than 150 participants from all over Europe, including France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Greece, the UK and Italy, as well as representatives from the USA and Chile. Topics discussed included production, consumption, conservation, new technologies, research & innovation and logistics, and concerned all varieties of asparagus.
