Hail in Antalya

The affected area is in the southwest of Turkey in Antalya and in the night from Saturday to Sunday, rain, high winds and hail of the size of a walnut, ransacked greenhouses and especially frustrated hopes of orange producers, that harvest began.

The damage will be assessed by the Regional Agricultural Directorate but already they seem very important.

This area is well known for its vegetables in greenhouses and is also a producing region mainly of tangerines and oranges .
