Start of the season beneficial for mango exports

Pakistan has already exported about 2,200 tons of mangoes from the official start of the export season.

In 5 days ( May 20-25) Pakistan has exported 2,200 tons of mangoes for a turnover of 1.1 million USD. The Exporters Association (PDCA ) explains these good figures for the prices : $ 500 per tonne this season while last year it was only $ 250 a tonne.

PDCA indicates that these mango exports were to the following destinations: Saudi Arabia, the UAE , Iran , Afghanistan, Oman, the CIS countries .
