Strong increase in exports to China

For 7 years fruit exports to China increased by 83.3% per year, reaching +109.1% in 2012.
Chile recorded excellent growth rate of its exports to China.
The Free Trade Agreement signed with China has generated strong growth of exports since 2005. In particular fruit exports which recorded an annual growth rate of 83.3% for the period 2005-2012.
This prodigious rate is largely due to shipments of grapes, plums and cherries. The year 2012 was even a record year for exporats of fruits with a growth rate of 109.1% and a record amount of $ 365 million.
