Garlic exports from Peru exceed $5 million until March

The garlic exports by Peru between January and March 2023 show a slight increase both in volume and value, compared to the same term in 2022.
Through March 2023, the country exported 3.699.948 kilos of the cultivar worth $5.052.415, according to Agrodata Perú.
In the same term of 2022, 3.028.764 kilos of garlic were shipped, worth $4.318.186.
The main destination to date remains Mexico (42% of total value), followed by the United States (29% of total value), followed by Ecuador (18%), Australia (4%), Poland (7%), and others.
