Merger of 2 cooperatives in Washington state

Two cooperatives in the region of Chelan in the north of Washington state have recently voted to join forces.
The new cooperative, known as Chelan Fruit Cooperative, brings together almost 400 growers and represents 80 percent of the production and the packing of cherries, apples and pears in the region, some 12 million trays.
