Agricultural food exports from Mexico to Japan have increased in 2018
This first half of the year presented an increased by 9.2% over the same period of last year. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Mexico in Japan, this represents a favorable growth of exports, as their commercial value increased from 574 million to 628.5 million dollars.

Japan is the third biggest destination market for Mexican agricultural food exports, preceded by the United States and Canada. It is the third largest exporter, the eighth biggest importer, and the leading investor among the economies of Asia-Pacific. It is benefited by its strategic location, which has served as a gateway to the markets of this region and means of diversification.
