Live from Kiev : "Hello Kiwi" for the marketing of the Greek kiwi

The largest Greek unions gathered under the flag "Hello Kiwi " to expose at FRESH BUSINESS EXPO in Kiev , Ukraine.

Representing 80% of Greek production , 7 cooperatives have come together under the flag "Hello Kiwi " . Aim to target several markets : those of Belarus and Ukraine but also from South Africa and the Persian Gulf countries.

Facing the Russian veto, the exporters decided to mount a special action for 3 years with support from EU funds for 50 % of Greek funds to 20%, the rest being financed by private capital.

Greece is the fifth producer of kiwifruit in the world and 2nd in Europe after Italy. The country has 8000 hectares of orchards and surfaces extend each year.
