Onions prices slide in Poland

According to the latest information, wholesale prices for onions keep drifting down in Poland. Based on the survey data, onions prices have decreased of 30% comparing to the last week figures in Poland. At the current moment, onions are available at 0,09 – 0,14 EUROkg in Polish vegetables market. Last year prices were 35% lower than this season figures. Due to local specialists, onions costs tumble could be traced to the significant increase of local onions yielding this season. As per recent statistics data, current year crop will exceed last season figures by 4%.
