A new potato factory

The Egyptian company Farm Frites, a subsidiary of Farm Frites Netherlands, specializes in frozen potato products, has opened a processing plant that has requested an investment of 40 million USD and will export to 22 countries.

 

 

The factory required an investment of 40 million USD, it is equipped with the latest technologies of packaging and processing of the potato and extends on 9 300 m2. Its production capacity is 50,000 tons, bringing the total production capacity of Farm Frites to 150,000 tons.

 

 

 

The company will be able to double its exports and open new markets, exporting half of its production to 22 countries.

 

 

 

This plant is a concrete expression of Egypt's desire to improve its efficiency standards in the food processing sector in order to make the country an industrial export hub for the Arab countries and the Middle East markets.
