The blueberry export season that continues in Peru began in June 2022 and will close at the end of the current month.
Until March 12, the country exported 283,000 tons of fresh blueberries, which means a growth of 30% compared to the same period of the previous campaign, reports the Inform@cción consultancy.
This 30% increase in volume is similar to what has been recorded in recent seasons.
For the coming season (2023/2024), Peru plans to export between 330,000 and 350,000 tons of fresh blueberries.
