Horta Pronta is expanding their production site.

 

Created in 1992, Horta Pronta has made cabbage their area of expertise, but Mr. Vala, company G.M. always believed that the squash was a vegetable « of the future ». For the past several years now, the company slowly increased their trading of squash, and lately,  has had to increase the area of production reserved to squashes. 

 

 

Horta Pronta now grows vegetables on 200 hectars of land mostly on the protuguese coast, in the heart of Portugal’s production area  near Peniche. Their list of products also include pointed cabbage as well as potaotes, carrots, leeks, cauliflower, broccoli , onions, and of course Portugal’s pride : pears.
