Positive evolution of Spanish exports to their main markets in the first quarter.
A satisfactory first-quarter result for Spanish exports of fruit and vegetables, which grew by + 11% to the EU, + 5% to non-EU European countries and + 14% to third countries outside Europe.
According to the data processed by FEPEX, during the first quarter, the EU accounted for 94% of the total Spanish exports at a value of 4,095 million euros. The main markets are growing: Germany (+ 13%), France (+ 4%), the United Kingdom (+ 3%).
Exports to non-EU European countries represented 2.8% of the total and increased by 5%. For Switzerland, the increase is + 13% and for Belarus + 22%
For non-European countries, exports reached 133 million euros, up 14%, representing 3.2% of the total. The United States, with 14.5 million euros (+ 60%), China with 14 million euros (+ 104%) and Saudi Arabia with 10.5 million euros (+ to 44%).
