More than 70 years on Switzerland market- PPO SERVICES AG keeps its strong positions

   Starting with objective to import fruits and vegetables from Italy in 1946 – the date of foundation of the company – PPO Services AG has rapidly increased the quantity of countries -suppliers, and now they have more than 25.

 As a traditional company PPO Services AG is based on long-term relationships with their partners. Some of company’s foreign producer relies on them in third generation.

  An important factor for success is careful selection of producers. PPO’s partners work according to international standards such as Global Gap and are being audited regularly. Regularly company visits their growers to be inform about the latest production methods, the infrastructure as well as working processes. The producers are not only complying with company’s requirements, they need to follow as well the international standards. The changing climate and steadily growing requests of different group of interest is challenging to them.

 After PPO Services AG has taken over 100% of the shares of Georges Helfer SA (Switzerland) in Gland in January the 1st 2017 company continue to fortify it’s positions on Switzerland market.
