Senegal exceeds 100,000 tons of exported Fruits & Vegetables

 

 

For 2017, Senegalese exports of Fruits & Vegetables totaled about 106,200 tons, nearly 20% more than the previous year.

 

 

 

This exported volume demonstrates the vitality of the horticultural sector which does not hide still experiencing difficulties. Especially in the mango industry, for phytosanitary reasons. An action plan is being put in place, at the level of producers as well as at the level of exporters, for a better conformity of Senegalese products with the requirements of the markets.
