Forecast of lemon and lime worldwide production in season 2008/09

According to forecast of European fruits Union Freshfel worldwide production of lemon and lime in season 2008/09 will be at the level of 7 to 8 million tons, of which 1,5 million tons will be traded and 2 million tons will be processed.

 

Most of lemons is from Argentine (1,5 mln tons), Spain (1,1mln tons) and Turkey (1mln tons).
