The Tabuenca carrots for 44,000 schoolchildren

The company Tabuenca was chosen for the 2013-2014 school year as a supplier of carrots for 250 schools (44,000 children) of Castilla y León, through the program "Desayunos Saludables"  (lunch healthy).

This program, providing fruit and vegetables to children, wants to improve the nutrition of children and encourage the consumption of natural and healthy products.

Tabuenca supplied over 40,000 pounds of carrots to schools, these carrots are prepared in juices and cakes. But the kids seem to enjoy the most natural, raw way to chew.

The company Tabuenca is very pleased to participate in this program of Castilla y León region. "The company that makes private and public entities working together to promote a healthy diet is very important and shows that together we can improve certain habits of society," commented the manager of the company, Bernardo Tabuenca.
