Cooperatives of Spain, France, Italy and Portugal unify their proposal of horticultural reform

The cooperatives of the Mediterranean countries have subscribed in Paris a joint document in which they request to elevate to 60% the financing of the operative programs and the take effect of a system of crisis management. The Federations of Cooperatives of these four countries have managed to prepare a document that will defend these countries before the European Commission facing the debate on the next reform of fruits and vegetables. The main requests are centered in increasing of the 50 to the 60 percent the cofinancing for the programs of the countries that megre, and protest to elevate the limit of the aids beyond anticipated 4.1 percent of the total commercialized value. On the other hand, they request the beginning of a system of crisis management in the organizations of producers, and with Commission cofinancing budget to 60%.
