Prices for fruits and vegetables are growing in Ukraine

Vegetables market index has gone up to 12 % during last week in Ukraine. According to the latest data vegetables costs have shown 26,9% growth only within last 3 weeks. Mostly prices growth is observed regarding onions, potatoes and cabbage costs within local market of Ukraine. Due to specialists forecast prices for greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes are also predicted to start growing before winter holidays (end of December – mid.of January). At the same time fruit costs remain on the same level within Ukrainian domestic market.
